Hello CPS Families,

You have to love Calgary weather – from minus freezing temps to above average with our chinook this week! Please prepare for the freeze/thaw that inevitably occurs when chinooks arrive. Be mindful of slippery sidewalks and icy/bumpy areas on the field. Students should be prepared for the melting snow with an extra set of clothes in their backpacks. While it may not be chilly enough to wear snowpants, they are highly encouraged as they also protect from the wet!

What a fantastic Maker's Market we had last week. Thank you to all the families and students who participated and a big thank you to Jill Woodwark for coordinating this first ever CPS event. Can't wait to see what next year brings....

Throughout our last week we will be hosting some carolling/singing in the gym with all students. Ms. Rickard has been working with students in grades 3-5 in their music classes on some festive tunes. Parents and guardians of grade 3, 4 and 5 students are welcome to attend their child's performance. Please see the schedule below for information on which grade is performing on what day and at which time:

Grade 3 - Tuesday, December 16th @1:05pm – 1:25pm

Grade 4 - Wednesday, December 17th @9:20am – 9:40am

Grade 5 - Thursday, December 18th @1:05pm-1:25pm
