This week, on March 19, we recognize Spring Equinox. This is a time of renewal and new beginnings. After a season of rest, the land comes to life with new growth, movement, and sounds.
There are four more school days until Spring Break. The last day for students before the break is Thursday, March 21. Spring Break runs until Monday, April 1. We will see everyone back at school on Tuesday, April 2. Please remember there is NO SCHOOL for students on Friday, March 22.
This is going to be a very busy week for students at Citadel Park School! We are lucky to have SoundKreations joining us this week during Physical Education classes. All students will learn a dance routine with a choreographer. Additionally, we have Clarence Wolfleg Junior joining us on Tuesday, March 19. All classes will spend time with Clarence, learning about Indigenous music and stories. Thank you to our School Council for funding these opportunities for Citadel Park School.
Parent/Teacher Conferences take place this week on Thursday, March 21 from 4:30 - 8:00 pm and on Friday, March 22 from 8:30 - 1:00.
