It's June!!!!! Twenty school 'get ups' left this school year!
With rain slated for the early part of the week, please ensure that students are dressed appropriately. While we will likely be having indoor recess and lunch, socks can become quite wet even coming and going to school, so adding an extra pair into backpacks is a great idea.
CBE yellow school bus transportation registration is now open through your MyCBE account. To have your address considered in routing and to be able for your child to ride the bus beginning in September, families must register by the deadline of June 14. Families can withdraw without financial penalty by the end of September if plans change and your child no longer requires bus service. Please visit the CBE Transportation webpage for further information.
Families are also reminded that outstanding school fees should now be paid. Payment can be made through your MyCBE account or at the school by credit card during regular business hours. Even if a family meets the criteria for a fee waiver, this waiver does not cover school-based fees. To discuss fee payment or a payment plan, please contact the school office. Unpaid fees have a significant impact on our school budget as we are required to cover outstanding balances. Currently, we have over $5,000 in unpaid fees!
The students had a great time during our Alien Inline Residency! Thank you again to our School Council for helping to sponsor this experience. Most classes finished up their skating experience with Alien Inline last week. The classes that missed their skating sessions on May 12 and 13 will have make-up sessions on June 8 and 9.
